SHUWA ARAB LEADERS IN LAGOS STATE DRUM SUPPORT FOR TINUBU/SHETTIMA AND SANWO-OLU/HAMZAT TICKETS


The Independent Campaign Council for Tinubu/Shettima and Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat (ICC) welcomed with enthusiasm the support of Shuwa Arab leaders in Lagos State for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Next President of Nigeria and the re-election bid of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.


The Director General of the ICC, Mr Tayo Ayinde thanked the gathering for deeming it fit to visit the campaign office. He affirmed that the ICC has unflinching trust in the commitment of the Shuwa Arab people and that the Shuwa Arab has consistently aligned with the All Progressives Congress.


The leadership of the Shuwa Arab presented an award of recognition to the Director General for his tenacity in supporting the cause of the people of North west in Lagos State, especially the Shuwa Arab people.


Alhaji Umaru Gulumba, the leader of Shuwa Arab in Lagos State appreciated the ICC leadership for the warm reception accorded them. He announced that the Northern people in Lagos have enjoyed the support of the State Government. He assured the ICC leadership of massive votes from his people.


The Directorate of Ethnicity Affairs of the ICC organized this event.
