Ojokoro Leaders Adopt Olotu, Olabinjo As Consensus Candidates
In a remarkable demonstration of unity, confidence, and collective resolve, members of the Ojokoro Apex Council have unanimously adopted Honourable Emmanuel Olotu as the Consensus Candidate for re-election into the Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 02. Also adopted Honourable Benjamin Olabinjo who is also currently serving his first tenure as member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Ifako federal constituency.
This historic and well-considered decision took place on Friday at a duly convened meeting of Ojokoro apex leaders. The gathering, attended by respected political leaders and influential stakeholders, reaffirmed their unwavering belief in the leadership capacity, performance, and credibility of Olotu.
After extensive deliberations and objective appraisal of his stewardship, the leaders collectively endorsed him to continue representing the good people of Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 02 at the Lagos State House of Assembly. Their decision reflects implicit satisfaction with his legislative contributions, infrastructural facilitation, empowerment programs, educational support initiatives, and consistent accessibility to constituents.
The adoption of Hon. Olotu as a Consensus Candidate signifies more than political support, it represents stability, continuity, and sustained progress. It is a clear acknowledgment that his representation has brought visible dividends of democracy and strengthened the voice of Ojokoro and the entire constituency at the state level.
The undermentioned Apex Leaders appended their signatures in affirmation of this noble course:
. Chief Oluyomi Olaogun
. Hon. Fausat Hassan Olajoku
. Mrs. Olufunmilayo Adefolabi
. Prince Adewale Bello
. Alhaji A. Amosu
. Otunba Akindele
. Dr. Idris Salako
. Hon. Hammed Idowu Tijani (HID)
. Dr. Waleeh Adeleke Ipaye
. Prince Adebola Ogunleye
. Alhaja Fatimo Balogun
. Mobolaji Sanusi Esq and:
. Hon. James Owolabi
The appended signatures and documented proceedings serve as undeniable proof of the authenticity, transparency, and unanimity of this endorsement.
It is on record that while the majority of Apex Leaders appended their signatures to endorse Hon. Emmanuel Olotu for re-election to the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. James Osatuyi and Hon. Jelili Oseni did not append their signatures to that particular endorsement.
However, both leaders duly appended their signatures in the endorsement of Hon. Benjamin Olabinjo as the consensus candidate for the House of Representatives.
This development reflects the diversity of opinions that naturally characterizes democratic engagements.
Differences in endorsement decisions should not be misconstrued as disunity but rather understood as an expression of individual conviction within the broader collective interest.
Democracy thrives where dialogue, consultation, and mutual respect prevail. While alignments may differ on specific candidatures, the overarching goal remains the progress of our constituency, the success of our party, and the delivery of quality representation to the people.
As we move forward, we call on all party faithful, community leaders, stakeholders, youth groups, women organizations, and the entire electorate of Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 02 to align with this unified direction. The journey toward greater development, inclusive governance, and sustained progress continues.
With one voice and shared conviction, Apex Ojokoro has spoken.
