JUST IN: Ojokoro 7 Wards Councillors Endorse Hon. Olotu for Second Term

 


Pass Vote of Confidence• _Charge Ojokorians to Embrace His Leadership Style




In a resounding show of unity and solidarity, the seven Ward Councillors of Ojokoro LCDA have unanimously endorsed Emmanuel Olotu for a second term as Member representing Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly.



This endorsement comes less than 24 hours after the Apex Leadership of Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency II reached a unanimous consensus on his return to the Lagos State House of Assembly.



The councillors, under the leadership of Hon. Usman Idowu Ipaye, passed a vote of confidence on Hon. Olotu’s representation, describing his leadership as exemplary, stabilizing, and development-driven.



Speaking during the endorsement, Hon. Ipaye noted that the peace and harmony currently enjoyed within the Ojokoro Legislative Council are products of Hon. Olotu’s wise counsel and fatherly role.



“We enjoy his leadership because he once served as a councillor himself. He understands the workings of the House and has always shown us love and support from the upper chamber. He has never instigated division but has ensured we operate in unity and peace,” he stated.



Also lending his voice, Hon. Olusegun Benjamin Jolaosho 'Custard’ applauded Hon. Olotu’s legislative acumen and commitment to delivering tangible dividends of democracy across Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency II. He emphasized that the people of their various wards mandated them to formally endorse his candidacy for continuity.



Similarly, Hon. Taiwo Bolaji Taofeek commended Hon. Olotu’s steadfast promotion of the constituency’s interests and appreciated his dedication during the Chairmanship and Councilorship campaigns.



In his remarks, Adeyemi Babasola described Hon. Olotu as a true democrat who consistently prioritizes the interests of Ojokoro LCDA. He affirmed the collective decision of the legislators to fully endorse his second-term bid, noting that his representation has been a blessing to the people.
