EID-EL-KABIR: CARRY GO FELICITATES WITH MUSLIMS


The President of Change Agent Foundation International (CAFI), Hon. Oladipupo Babatunde Okeyomi Carry Go, felicitates with all Nigerians, Cafians and the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir.


Mr. Okeyomi in a statement released by his Media Aide, Lateef Olawale, said the period called for sober reflections.


“I enjoin you to use the period to uphold the spiritual benefit of the celebration by extending a hand of friendship and solidarity across all divides and imbibing the spirit of sacrifice and obedience to the higher authority as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim and upheld by Prophet Muhammed (SAW).


“This is an opportunity for us to reflect and pray for our nation; pray for our dear President for God’s guidance and pray for all those in leadership positions so that God in his infinite mercy will continue to guide them as they steer the affairs of the country,” Carry Go said.


Hon. Okeyomi said the significance of the season should be beyond the festivities but towards a sincere commitment to righteous conducts in private and public lives.


“As we celebrate this auspicious occasion, let us renew our faith in our nation and implore the almighty God to restore to us those values that place high premium on human life, love of neighbour and sharing even as we ventilate our faith in the unity of our dear country. This period requires more patience, fortitude, tolerance, endurance, patriotism and a greater willingness to make personal sacrifices for the good of all.”

Aliko Dangote Foundation donates bags of Rice To Vulnerable In Lagos State

  The Aliko Dangote Foundation has donated 80,000 bags of 10kg rice to support vulnerable communities in Lagos State. Dangote said the distribution of the bags of 10kg of rice was a demonstration of the Aliko Dangote Foundation’s (ADF) commitment to upholding the values of compassion and solidarity that are at the core of humanity. _He said over one million 10kg bags of rice would be distributed to reach vulnerable people in all the 774 LGAs of the country._ Governor of Lagos state,  Babajide Sanwo-Olu, applauded the humanitarian initiatives of Dangote to ameliorate the sufferings of Nigerians, while praising him for showing compassion to the needy in the society.
