LAGOS STATE TAXI DRIVERS AND CAB OPERATORS ENDORSE ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU FOR PRESIDENT, RENEW THEIR SUPPORT FOR GOVERNOR BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU’S SECOND TERM


The Lagos State Taxi Drivers and Cab Operators Association endorsed the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and they reaffirmed their support for the second term bid of Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu. 


The Taxi Drivers executives from across the state converged on the Tinubu/Shettima and Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat Independent Campaign Council (ICC) Office, located at 58/60 Oduduwa Crescent, GRA Ikeja to make this all-important declaration today the 20th January, 2023.


Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the Tinubu/Shettima and Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat Independent Campaign Council (ICC), Cardinal James Odunmbaku popularly known as Baba Eto praised the courageous nature of the taxi drivers and their untiring commitment to the progressive ideology. He assured the taxi drivers of government support in making life better.


Baba Eto reiterated the conviction of the party leadership that an Asiwaju Presidency is destined to bring great and positive change to Nigeria.


On his part, the President of Lagos State Association of Taxi Drivers and Cabs Operators, Otunba Taiwo Omolekan thanked the ICC leadership for the warm reception accorded them. 


He assured the leadership that their members across the state are ready for the Presidential and Governorship elections, and they are pushing for the All-Progressive Congress candidates at all levels. 


Dignitaries at the event were Mr. Tayo Ayinde the Director General of the Campaign Council, Cardinal James Odunmbaku the Chairman of Independent Campaign Council, Mr. Kola Peregriho the Deputy Director General, and Hon. Sesan Daini the Director of Media at the ICC among others.
