IFAKO IJAIYE CONSTITUENCY 02: HON EMMANUEL OLOTU ATTEND 8TH DAYS FIDAU PRAYERS OF HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS, OBA AHMED SAKA TAIWO, (OFIRIJA 1)


The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ifako Ijaiye Constituency 02,  Hon. Emmanuel OLOTU accompanied by the Central Working Committee (CWC) members of his campaign council were part of the dignitaries that attended the 8th day Fidau Prayers held for the departed Oba of Orile Alagbado, OBA AHMED SAKA TAIWO, (OFIRIJA 1).


The Islamic Cleric at the 8th Day Fidau Prayer for the late Oba of Orile Agbado, HRH, OBA AHMED SAKA TAIWO on Saturday, urged Nigerian leaders and all those in position of authority  to emulate the life of service to humanity as exemplified by the late monarch.


Delivering a lecture at the occasion which took place at monarch's Palace, the Islamic Scholar, which is the Chief Tafsir, Orile Alagabdo, Sheikh Abdulsobur Irorun ni said the principal lesson to learn from the life of Oba Ahmed Saka Taiwo was the fact that he lived a life of Allah consciousness, adding that only such a life could ensure a prosperous and united Nation.


The soft spoken candidate who consistently has remained proactive and concerned about happenings in the constituency, described the monarch who joined his ancestors in the early hours of Saturday, January 14th, 2023,  as an Outstanding, Honest, Passionate, Non-descriminating  Community leader, before and after he was crown as the "Oba of Orile Agbado".


Hon. Olotu also described the Monarch’s love for the people and his concern for equity and justice would remain evergreen in the hearts of Orile Agbado's people, adding, “he was a man of strong character and an ideal father who contributed his quota to the peace and development of Alagbado, Lagos State and Nigeria at large”.


Painful, however not regrettable, his call to join his ancestors significantly at a time like this, has created a vacuum that might take decades to be filled but in all, Hon. Olotu submits that, "Kabiyesi has left a good legacy behind, and can be said that, OBA AHMED SAKA TAIWO Came, Saw and Conquered.* he therefore console the family to take solace in the fact that, God giveth and taketh at the appropriate time. All mankind shall pay unavoidable supreme price for death,  but what matter most is the legacy we leave behind.



While leaving the 8th Fidau Prayer of the Monarch, Hon. Olotu and his entourage pays a courtesy visit to Hon. Ahmed Omisore on the invitation of Social Reformer Club New Year Party.

Aliko Dangote Foundation donates bags of Rice To Vulnerable In Lagos State

  The Aliko Dangote Foundation has donated 80,000 bags of 10kg rice to support vulnerable communities in Lagos State.
