CONGRATULATIONS TO HON. EMMANUEL OLOTU ON HIS WELL-DESERVED VICTORY



With great pride and heartfelt joy, we extend our warmest congratulations to Hon. Emmanuel Olotu on his emergence as the winner of the just concluded primary election for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Ifako Ijaiye Constituency 02 under the banner of the All Progressives Congress. This well-earned victory is a testament to his steadfast dedication, impactful representation, and the enduring trust he enjoys among party faithful and constituents across the constituency.


The ward-by-ward results clearly reflect the confidence reposed in his leadership. In Ward I, Hon. Olotu secured 514 votes against 303 votes polled by his opponent. In Ward J, he garnered 241 votes, while 333 votes were recorded for Makinde. Ward K delivered another strong showing, with Hon. Olotu polling 685 votes against 650 votes. It is noteworthy that Ward G and Ward H were canceled due to irregularities, further underscoring the importance of transparency and due process in our democratic exercise.


At the conclusion of the collation, the total votes stood at 1,440 for Hon. Olotu and 1,286 for Makinde, affirming a decisive and legitimate victory. The margin of victory reflects not only widespread grassroots support but also the collective resolve of party members who believe in continuity, experience, and progressive representation at the State Assembly.


As Hon. Olotu advances as the party’s flag bearer, this triumph marks another milestone in the journey toward sustained development and effective legislative service for the good people of Ifako Ijaiye Constituency 02. We celebrate this victory with optimism and renewed commitment to unity, progress, and ultimate success at the forthcoming general election.
