THE Lawmaker representing Ifako Ijaiye Constituency 02, Ojokoro LCDA, at the Lagos State House of Assembly Hon. Emmanuel Olotu tour APC registration centres in Ojokoro LCDA to complement the efforts of our great party on the ongoing membership registration across the wards.



Hon. OLOTU who is referred as Oxygen and KOSELERI Of Ojokoro has described the ongoing electronic membership registration exercise as a mandatory and strategic reform aimed at strengthening party structure, transparency and internal democracy.


The distinguished lawmaker was dissatisfied with the low turn out of members, On this note, the lawmaker tasks Ward Executives and party members to mobilise members to register their membership card to the progressive family.


He furthered said, mass participation would demonstrate support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and administration's Renewed Hope Agenda


Olotu noted that mobilisation was crucial, adding that the President was dissatisfied with the APC's performance in Lagos during the last election, we must do anything possible in our purview to have gargantuan results come 2026 elections.


"With Unity and proper mobilisation, we can reposition the party and secure stronger results in future elections" Olotu added


Hon. Olotu promises immediate financial reward for ward(s) that succeed in having highest membership registration with veritable proof.



The philanthropist lawmaker listens to the challenges faced by the agents during the e-Registration, he immediately bought Modulator and Demodulator (MODEM) for swift connection in Ward H, which comprises Ward B, C and D in Ojokoro and also gave them a generator which was delivered to the Councillor of Ward B, Hon. Adeyemi Babasola to power electricity for swift printing of membership cards.

 


Hon Olotu, who is also the Chairman of House Committee on Agriculture intensified a massive online mobilisation campaign urging Ojokorians who are yet to register as members of the APC to take advantage of the exercise, and also promised to reward new registrants financially.

 

Hon. OLOTU used the opportunity to register for his membership card in Ward K, which is also known as Ward G, Ojokoro LCDA.

 

Towards an improved mobilisation sensitization, Hon. Olotu decides to hold a meeting with all Party Executives, which comprises LG, Ward and Zonal Coordinators on Monday, 12th Jan, 2026

 

Olotu noted that the e-Registration exercise forms part of broader efforts to modernise party administration and align its operations with the demands of contemporary democratic practice.


The distinguished Lawmaker further stated that the initiative provides equal opportunity for both long-standing and new members to be formally recognised within the party structure, describing the process as a step towards reducing gate-keeping and ensuring fairness in internal participation.


He explained that the e-Registration process was designed to eliminate duplication, impersonation and unverified membership, which has historically undermined cohesion and trust within political organisations.

 

He added that a verifiable digital register would ensure that all members are properly identified and accounted for.

Olusegun Benjamin Jolaosho 'Custard', Ward E Councillor, Hon. Keji Shokunbi, Ward B and C Councillors, Hon. Babayemi Adesola and Hon. Sanya Elijah Olusegun Olumose respectively .
