OJOKORO RUMOUR PEDDLERS: LET MOBOLAJI SANUSI BE
By Busari Ojutelegan
The moment for undeniable sense of truth and political clarity is now. Truth rises above deceit and falsehood, exposing in its wake the desperation of its perpetrators. For now, as always, truth, despite the machinations of falsehood purveyors, illuminates the path forward.
Truth allows individuals and communities to grow and flourish and Ojokoro people deserve to know the truth about the best chairmanship prospect in the imminent local government election.
Therefore, for the people of Ojokoro and Lagos state in general that are interested in knowing Mr. Mobolaji Sanusi as a reckoned force in his community, it is incontrovertible that he has over the years been consistently involved through moral/pecuniary efforts during electioneering operations and beyond of the progressive party(AC/ACN/APC) at the ward and local government levels. This is contrary to the lies being peddled by liars masquerading as political saints/messiahs in Ojokoro LCDA.
Due to the lies being peddled by Ojokoro propagandists just to hoodwink the people, it is interesting to know that Mr Sanusi was listed as a nominee for Commissionership position from Ifako Ijaiye Local Government Area including Ojokoro LCDA with his nomination letter endorsed by both LGs party chairmen, the two council chairmen, the two members of the Lagos State House of Assembly and current member of the House of Representatives. If Mr Sanusi is not known to the community, this important men of power in Ifako/Ojokoro would not have signed his nomination paper. Malicious rumour peddlers should think of something else to say and leave this gentle man of principle alone.
Mr. Sanusi, a former Managing Director of the Lagos State Signage & Advertisement Agency remains a steadfast advocate of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's political ideology. If a man does not boast of his accomplishments, it does not render him an outsider. As the adage goes, an empty vessel makes the loudest sound.
Mr. Sanusi loves his community and have for almost three decades been living amongst his Ojokoro people.
He never moved to the affluent districts of Lagos during his tenure in government, even though he still possesses the means to do so.
The lies against Mr Sanusi, a tested, principled and focused former public office holder and undeniably trusted political son of President Tinubu, have fallen flat on the faces of political liars.
All we want is for Mr Sanusi to help bring Ojokoro out of the woods.
This is what ‘WE’ the people of Ojokoro are asking and demanding from the selfish agitators. So shall it be.
