The Member, representing the good people of Ifako Ijaiye Constituency 02, *Hon. Emmanuel Olotu* has congratulated the Honourable speaking Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, on his 52nd landmark birthday.


Hon. Olotu, in his congratulatory letter described the Lagos State Assembly Speaker as an outstanding politician and legislator par excellence who has contributed immensely to the development of Lagos State. 


Hon. Olotu, who is also the Chairman, Committee On Agriculture, commended Rt Hon. Obasa for being steadfast as a progressive since 1999.


“On behalf of my family and the entire good people of the Ifako Ijaiye Constituency 02 , I congratulate my dear boss, Rt Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, the Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, on the occasion of his 52nd birthday on Monday, November 11, 2024. 


“Mr Speaker, we are proud of your outstanding accomplishments as an astute politician and quintessential legislator. You have shown great capacity in the way you have led the most vibrant House of Assembly in the federation in the last nine years as the Lagos Assembly Speaker.


“Your loyalty to the ideals of the progressives is never in doubt. The passion for the party you displayed in 1999 when you won election as Councillor in Agege Local Government on the platform of the Alliance for Democracy, AD, has not waned, but rather getting stronger.


“Mr Speaker, on this auspicious occasion, I join your family, associates and well-wishers in congratulating you on this momentous 52nd birthday occasion. I pray that Almighty God will continue to bless you and yours. Ameen”.

Aliko Dangote Foundation donates bags of Rice To Vulnerable In Lagos State

  The Aliko Dangote Foundation has donated 80,000 bags of 10kg rice to support vulnerable communities in Lagos State. Dangote said the distribution of the bags of 10kg of rice was a demonstration of the Aliko Dangote Foundation’s (ADF) commitment to upholding the values of compassion and solidarity that are at the core of humanity. _He said over one million 10kg bags of rice would be distributed to reach vulnerable people in all the 774 LGAs of the country._ Governor of Lagos state,  Babajide Sanwo-Olu, applauded the humanitarian initiatives of Dangote to ameliorate the sufferings of Nigerians, while praising him for showing compassion to the needy in the society.
