HON. OLOTU INSPECTS ECOLOGICAL DRAINAGE PROJECTS IN HIS CONSTITUENCY

The Lagos State House of Assembly member, representing the good people of Ifako Ijaiye Constituency 02, Ojokoro LCDA, Hon. Emmanuel Olotu  inspected ongoing ecological drainage project within his constituency to assess progress and address potential flooding issues which was facilitated by him through the Ministry of Environment. The inspection, which included key areas like Educare, Ayinla Adams down to Clem Road, was part of a larger effort to enhance infrastructure and mitigate the impact of flooding. The representative emphasized the importance of sustainable infrastructure development and community cooperation in ensuring the success of these projects. Lagos LG Polls: Apex leaders reconfirmed Sanusi as consensus APC chairmanship candidate in Ojokoro

Ahead of the July 12 Local Government elections in Lagos State, the Apex leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA) have dismissed a purported chairmanship list submitted to the state party chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, stating that it did not originate from a valid quorum of the council’s Apex Council. The leaders reaffirmed a highly respected journalist and prolific writer, Mr Mobolaji Sanusi as the consensus APC chairmanship candidate for Ojokoro, as adopted by the majority of council leaders during several earlier meetings. JUST IN: Lagos APC to adopt consensus list for LG primary

  Ahead of the Lagos State Local Government election, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has indicated that its candidates list for the chairmanship and councillorship polls would emerge through consensus between the party leaders, aspirants and members across the 57 Local Governments and Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in the state. The party said that the need to adopt consensus lists for both the councillor and chairmen seats will ensure a rancour free primary exercise as well as sustain the existing unity among members of the Lagos APC. It added that uniting on lists of the candidates will allow the party win all elective seats during the poll in the state, saying we have 57 councils but the number of aspirants is over 400 and all of them can’t seat in the office.
