Yuletide Celebration: FKJ 02 LEGISLATOR, HON. OLOTU DOLES OUT CASH GIFT AND RICE TO CONSTITUENTS

In his usual manner, our own proactive and philanthropist legislator, representing the good people of Ifako Ijaiye Constituency 02, Hon. Emmanuel Olotu donated 150 bags of rice to various party leaders, which will be shared in all  seven wards in Ojokoro LCDA to joyfully celebrate the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year The Chairman Committee On Agriculture reiterated his commitment to the good people of Ifako Ijaiye Constituency 02, in line with the interest of the electorates, as the holder of their mandate. In continuation of his philanthropy attributes, he donated N500,000 to each Ward, making it 3.5million naira to seven wards. In addition, Cash Gifts of N20,000 each to LG Executives, while N10,000 each to Ward Executives. Cash gifts were also given to some stakeholders of the party Hon. MC Oluomo Takes The Helm As NURTW National President

  Former Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Lagos State Chapter, Mr Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, was elected the new National President of the Union on Saturday. Akinsanya was the sole candidate in the election, which took place at the Union’s Zonal Secretariat along the Osogbo/Ikirun road. Delegates from the four Southwest states of Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, and Ekiti participated in the election. The election, held during the Union’s Quadrennial Delegate Conference, was monitored and observed by the acting National President of the group, Aliyu Issa-Ore. ALLEGATIONS OF POLICE MISCONDUCT STIR PUBLIC OUTCRY IN ONDO STATE AS ASSAULT CASE RESURFACES

The directive, as reported by the Inspector General of Police in February, emphasised that AIG Asabi was to “oversee a comprehensive and coordinated security response” to bring stability to the region. Breaking: Suspended Lagos LG Chairman Writes Assembly, Seeks Lawmakers’ Forgiveness

  The Suspended chairman of the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State, Jelili Sulaimon, has pleaded with the state Assembly men for forgiveness, nearly a month after he was axed for non-compliance, defiance and unyielding attitude to the legislative House. In a ‘Letter of Apology’ personally signed by the embattled chairman, addressed to Speaker Mudashiru Obasa and read on the floor of the House on Tuesday, Jelili agreed that his actions may have caused disrespect to the House. While expressing regret, he promised to henceforth show maximum respect to the House and work closely with the legislators.
