Embattled activist and Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the February 2019 general election, Mr. Omoyele Sowore, has said that Nigeria belongs to every Nigerian and that no Nigerian should be afraid in their own country. Sowore spoke at the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Friday as the operatives of the Department of State Services rearrested him inside the court. Sowore was released at about 7.20pm on Thursday after he had spent 125 days in DSS detention since his arrest last August, when he was accused of planning a forceful takeover of government through a nationwide protests tagged #RevolutionNow. However, on Friday, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of the Federal High Court in Abuja abruptly suspended sitting and fled her court as DSS operatives invaded the courtroom and re-arrested Sowore, less than 24 hours after his release from illegal custody. CAFI-T23 MONTHLY GENERAL MEETING

On Tuesday, 26th of November 2019, Change Agent Foundation International (CAFI) held her monthly meeting at the CAFI Secretariat, City Star, Amje, Alakuko Lagos. The meeting was attended by mammoth CAFI members throughout Lagos State, Kwara, Ekiti, Ogun and other State in Nigeria. The Principal Director of Mobilisation and Deputy Secretary General, Hon. Akinoso Olusegun Olawaye welcome all the members of CAFI that graced the monthly general meeting. He buttressed that, CAFI has spread it's tentacles throughout Nigeria, and we are embracing new members who are willing and ready to follow the rules and regulations of the group. INEC Declares Bello Winner of Kogi Guber Election

Governor Yahaya Bello polled a total of 406,222 votes to defeat his rival and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Musa Wada, who scored 189,704 votes in the election. Announcing the result at the INEC collation centre in Lokoja on Monday, the Returning Officer, Kogi gubernatorial election, Prof. Ibrahim Garba, said that Governor Bello having satisfied the requirement of law has been returned as winner. Governor Bello won in the following local government: Ogori/Magongo, Ijumu, Adavi, Okene, Kabba/Bunu, Kogi (Koton Karfe), Okehi, Mopamuro, Ajaokuta, Olamaboro, Ibaji and Lokoja and scored 25 per cent in other seven local governments. However, the PDP candidate, Wada, won in Omola, Igalamela/Odolu, Yagba East, Idah, Yagba West, Bassa Anlpa, Ofu and Dekina where he hails from.
