CAFI-T23 MONTHLY GENERAL MEETING

On Tuesday, 26th of November 2019, Change Agent Foundation International (CAFI) held her monthly meeting at the CAFI Secretariat, City Star, Amje, Alakuko Lagos. The meeting was attended by mammoth CAFI members throughout Lagos State, Kwara, Ekiti, Ogun and other State in Nigeria. The Principal Director of Mobilisation and Deputy Secretary General, Hon. Akinoso Olusegun Olawaye welcome all the members of CAFI that graced the monthly general meeting. He buttressed that, CAFI has spread it's tentacles throughout Nigeria, and we are embracing new members who are willing and ready to follow the rules and regulations of the group. He described the President of CAFI as a philanthropist and a humanitarian. He urged the members to comport themselves on Carry Go Day, because different dignitaries will be present on that memorable day. INEC Declares Bello Winner of Kogi Guber Election

Governor Yahaya Bello polled a total of 406,222 votes to defeat his rival and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Musa Wada, who scored 189,704 votes in the election. Announcing the result at the INEC collation centre in Lokoja on Monday, the Returning Officer, Kogi gubernatorial election, Prof. Ibrahim Garba, said that Governor Bello having satisfied the requirement of law has been returned as winner. Governor Bello won in the following local government: Ogori/Magongo, Ijumu, Adavi, Okene, Kabba/Bunu, Kogi (Koton Karfe), Okehi, Mopamuro, Ajaokuta, Olamaboro, Ibaji and Lokoja and scored 25 per cent in other seven local governments. However, the PDP candidate, Wada, won in Omola, Igalamela/Odolu, Yagba East, Idah, Yagba West, Bassa Anlpa, Ofu and Dekina where he hails from. Sanwo-Olu said the proposed budget had been christened: “The Budget of Awakening to a Greater Lagos”, and would give priority to the completion of ongoing projects. Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State on Friday presented the year 2020 proposed Budget of N1.168 trillion to the State House of Assembly. OLAWALE NewsPlus has exclusively obtained names and portfolios of some of the aides of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who were sacked by President Muhammadu Buhari. The crisis rocking the presidency yesterday worsened as Buhari sacked 35 aides of Osinbajo, OLAWALE NewsPlus Report. Prominent on the lists of the affected aides is Ajibola Ajayi, the daughter of former Governor of Oyo State, Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi. She was appointed Special Assistant, Legal to the President (VP’s office) in August 2019. FG declares Monday public holiday

The Federal Government has declared Monday, 11th of November, 2019 as Public Holiday to mark the 2019 Eid-ul-Mawlud in commemoration of the birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
